Little girl with her adoptive family

First Adoption of 2023

Ten-year-old Taylin celebrated in style today for her adoption finalization hearing in Boone County Family Court.

She wore an elegant white dress and arrived in a purple stretch limousine with her parents, Jimmy and Lauren, two baby siblings, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. DCCH case managers, both current and past, Brittany Powell, Sarah McAdams, Danielle Thamm, and TFC Director Ron Bertsch, were all on hand to witness the big occasion.
