The Kues Family Adoption

Joe and Jess Kues celebrated an adoption finalization. Even before being sworn in for testimony, thirteen-year-old Steven interrupted Family Court Judge Abigail Voelker to announce he wished to become a Kues. He hammered the gavel down, leaving no doubt of his new official status. Just short of two years he has been living with the Kues family when joining their lives through foster care. Steven was welcomed by brothers Kian and Donavan, and big sister Alannah. A court room full of people with many relatives and friends came to mark the special milestone in his life. Congratulations Steven and the Kues family!

Pictured are attorney Kelly Holden who represented the family, along with Sarah McAdams and Ron Bertsch from DCCH who all sought a special photo memory inside the historic Campbell County Court House.
