Since 2012, our therapy center has offered high-quality evidence-based counseling and mental health services with a focus on children, teens, adults, and their families. In addition we offer marital therapy, as well as grief counseling. See our services below. Our experienced therapists work closely with clients to help them identify, assess, and meet their needs and goals.
Our therapists also specialize in Trauma-Informed Care services, with an emphasis on self-care, safety, compassion, and understanding the unique experiences of each individual.

Therapy Payment Information
We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, HSA cards, cash, checks, and private insurance. DCCH Center is an authorized Medicaid Service Provider.

Health insurance plans may cover therapy services. Clients are responsible for verifying their behavioral health and mental health benefits with their insurance carrier.
- Insurance Providers: The Therapy Center at DCCH accepts most major insurance carriers, including Anthem, United Healthcare UMR, Aetna, and Cigna, as well as all Kentucky Medicaid plans.
- Payments, Co-Payments, and Deductibles: Clients are responsible for making the appropriate payments or co-payments at each appointment and for any deductible required by their insurance plan.
- Missed or Cancelled Appointments: If a client misses an appointment or cancels with less than 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment, rescheduling will be at the provider's discretion. Clients with private pay or commercial insurance may be charged a $35 fee for missed, canceled, or late-notice appointments. The fee must be paid before rescheduling can occur. Some exceptions may apply.
- Returned Check Fee: A $25 fee will be charged for any returned check. This fee may vary based on bank regulations.
- Private Pay: Clients who opt to pay privately for services not covered by insurance must submit payment at the time of service. Please note that most services, except for sessions, will not be reimbursed by insurance companies.

- Adoption Services: Assisting families in providing permanent, loving homes for children in need.
- Therapeutic Foster Care: Supporting foster families interested in assisting children placed in their care.
- Independent Living Assistance: Helping young adults 18-21 transition from foster care to independent living with support, guidance, and resources.
