Remembering Gene Weber

We were saddened to learn of the passing of long-time DCCH volunteer and Flea Market founder Gene Weber on July 3.

Gene was kind, wise, and dedicated to the children at DCCH. He was generous with his talents and treasures, but he was the most giving of his time. He was extremely dedicated to the other volunteers and thankful of the time they shared at the Flea Market. He was also a beacon of tradition for customers, greeting them by name, with a warm hug or handshake. He was considered part of the staff at DCCH and would join us for lunch on the days he volunteered. He never expected anything other than a good lunch and fun conversation.

Gene will be so missed, and all of us at DCCH extend our deepest sympathies and gratitude to his family.
