Foster Family Decides To Adopt
Congratulations to this amazing family on their adoption! After two and a half years of fostering, with weekly visitations and intense efforts toward a plan of birth family reunification, unfortunately that plan was not reached. However, the next best option is when a foster family can and does commit to making their home a forever home. They officially added three beautiful and smart siblings into their family through adoption. The family just made their daughter an official permanent big sister too! They plan to celebrate their adoption by taking a road trip to visit Yellowstone National Park, when it is safe to do so. We are happy for you all and congratulate everyone on a foster care job well done; with a happy ending that is really just a new beginning!
The DCCH Foster Care Team is always looking for committed, loving homes for children in Kentucky’s foster care system. We can even facilitate trainings via Zoom! Please email [email protected] to learn more today. The need is great; you CAN do this!
