Michael and Kandice Riggins and their son Sam welcomed three more children as a forever part of this terrific family! Liam, Ari, and Nikolai were so excited to have this day finally happen. Celebrating with all their grandparents and relatives, most of whom came from out of state, was extra special.

This is a sports-loving family, so personalized baseball jerseys were made and worn, marking the team they have all become! Riding in a Limo Party Van brought the entire group to Boone County Family Court, where Judge Dusing made their wishes come true. That realization brought on some moist eyes for many in attendance. Congratulations, Riggins family, from your friends at DCCH!

Fast forward five plus years, through COVID craziness, supporting birth family and many days/nights loving on these beautiful children, grieving the losses, and now today they became a forever family. So honored to be witness to this journey. Really terrific parents and great kids. I could not be happier! May God continue to bless you all.”
